All modules require a +/-15 Volt power supply to operate (see BE67 card below) and feature a universal pin out so that the power rails and ground can be bussed. All modules supplied with connection data and circuit diagram.
BE12

BE12 Balanced Output Module (BOM). A simple but clever module to convert any unbalanced (or balanced) audio output into a balanced "transformer like" floating output.  The BE12 can be supplied or user fitted with gain or attenuation making it ideal for level matching as well, for example, -10dBv to +4dBu, or vice versa. Mulitple BOM's can be used to form a Distribution Amplifer with customised output levels. Very handy.

BE13 BE13 Balanced Input Module (BIM). Universal high headroom input module for receiving balanced audio inputs.  Can also be used for unbalanced inputs and includes RFI filtering.  Nominally set with a gain of 1x, but gain or attenuation supplied to order or user fitted.  Dual op amp design ensures identical impedance on both input legs resulting in superior performance when the input has to be patched or connected to various balanced/unbalanced sources.

BE47 Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA). Excellent audio quality, variable gain balanced input module.  DC control voltage as standard is 0-5 volts but can be user defined and there are no tweakies to set up !!  The BE47 utilises a new generation trimless VCA device providing accurate control of audio level with very low distortion. Applications include remote volume controls, limiters and compressors.

BE48 BE48 Microphone Input Module (MIM). A general purpose balanced input Microphone amplifier with up to 65dB gain. The gain can be externally adjusted with the antilog 10k pot or with switched resistors. The design of the module is similar to that found in many mid priced studio consoles and exhibits an acceptable noise floor for general applications.

BE49 Audio Switch Module (ASM). This module has 2 unbalanced inputs that can be selected to one buffered output via a CMOS switch device. The control port is CMOS/TTL (5V) compatible. The ASM module has application in studio talkback systems, paging systems and where ever you need a hi-quality 2x1 electronic selector.

BE58 BE58 Power Amplifier Module (PAM). The BE58 is a stereo 5W per channel power amplifier that can drive 8 ohm loudspeakers directly. Also, because the BE58 runs on +/-15V power rails, it can drive multiple high impedance headphones to ear splitting levels!! The BE58 has application in talkback systems and headphone amplifiers. If the BE58 is driven by a BE12 (BOM) module, you have a bridged balanced floating output amplifier useful for more power and long line driving. (Shown with heatsink removed).
